The Super Eagles of Nigeria will hope to win their remaining four FIFA world cup qualifier fixtures; npflupdates.com reports.
Nigeria failed to secure the maximum three points on Tuesday when they hosted the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

It was a keenly contested fixture with both sides holding their positions in the first half.
Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle would allegedly change his tactics during the interval; tilting the game towards his side in the period.
The three-time African champions would break the deadlock through a Victor Osimhen’s header from close range. And when supporters feel the game would end in their favour, the visitors pulled an equaliser.
Nigeria now has seven points from six games; with hopes of a qualification hanging in a balance.
Three important takeaways from the Super Eagles draw are the following:

1) Nigeria poor possessions and wastefulness in front of goal: The Super Eagles was presented with a lot of goal-scoring opportunities, both in the first and second half. Sadly, they’re wasteful and failed to convert at least 20% of their chances. They’d later pay dearly for all the missed chances.
2) Osimhen’s quality, confidence and morale-boosting gestures. Forward Victor Osimhen deployed as the team’s center-forward was outstanding. Though closely by the opposing defender, was still able to break the deadlock. The goal against Zimbabwe is his third in two games for the Super Eagles.
His contribution to the national team cannot be over emphasized.
3) Eric Chelle’s home debut ending in a disappointment. The Malian gaffer who won his Super Eagles debut, failed to win his first home game.

Hope and expectations were high going by the level of talent at his disposal; sadly, it ended in a draw. A result which didn’t go down well with the team’s supporters.
