While Adebayo Adeleye helped Hapoel Jerusalem qualify for a European competition at the end of last season. Andre Onana helped Inter Milan reach a UEFA Champions League final for the first time in over a decade. Sadly, they lost to current champions, Manchester City.
Also, while Adebayo is enjoying another Super Eagles invitation, Onana is coming out of retirement to rejoin the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
Recall, Andre Onana has retired from the Cameroon’s national team last year. The goalkeeper was speculated to have fallen out with his national team coach Rigobert Song. Hence his premature international retirment; but he has been persuaded to come out of retirement and join his teammates.
So, addressing the lookalike speculations, Adebayo hinted jokingly that Onana may be his twin.
