Secondly, the Super Eagles have qualified for the 2025 AFCON despite losing against Amavubi of Rwanda. The three-time African champions finished as group leaders, and will hope to win it’s fourth Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) title.

Finally, the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, will need to find a substantive coach for the national team. Lack of link-up plays between the midfield and attackers of the national team is one of the major reasons they lost to Rwanda. This lacuna will be filled when a substantive coach is at the helm of the affairs.
