Nigeria begin it’s 2025 Africa Cup Of Nations AFCON, qualifier this Saturday in Uyo against Benin Republic; npflupdates.com reports.
The Super Eagles will hope to be at the next edition of the AFCON which will be held in Morocco, after reaching the finals of the last edition in Cote d’Ivoire.
Fans are expected to be at the 30,000 capacity Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo, to support the three-time African champions.

The Nigeria Football Federation NFF, has pegged the price for the various stands in the stadium at N3,000 and N1,000 respectively for the VIP and Ordinary Areas.
Meanwhile, tye NNPCL few days ago increased the pump prize of the PMS from N600 to N885 leading to hike in goods and services.
Reacting, NPFLUpdates in-house analyst Mr Best, advised Nigerians to look away from recent hike in PMS and support the Super Eagles come Saturday by going to the stadium.

“This hike in fuel issue should be a stumbling block for us. Of course I know Nigerians will look away at it and support the Super Eagles.
“And maybe after the game we all can go back and address it. For now, we all need this victory against Benin Republic; our bragging right is at stake.
“So we’d need a stadium filled to brim; it would be an advantage,” he said Thursday morning,” the seasoned analyst said Thursday morning.
Reacting, a Facebook user EA Thompson, wished; “How I wish the stadium would just be the players alone. This country is not worth celebrating at the moment.”

Anthony Ojochogwu in a response to a Facebook post captioned, “nonsense post, is going to stadium to watch match bring food to the table of Nigerians?”
“So people should trek or pay huge amount of money to go watch because one yeye fail fail Super Eagles is playing match,” Mac-Dinepre Banks cried.
“Una dey forget say those players na inside money them dey swim, make fans forget wetin? After match them go enter flights go back to Europe, I hear you Oga sir, well done 👍,” Austine Gboso Oseghale reacted.
In another story, AFCON qualifier-bound forward Victor Osimhen has revealed reason he signed for Galatasary Sk on loan from Napoli.
According to the player, accepting Gala’s offer was am easy one, adding that compatriot Henry Onyekuru gave an insight about the club.
