Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye reveal he featured for Nigeria against Rwanda with an injured wrist; npflupdates.com reports.
Okoye made a return to the Super Eagles in a dead-rubber tie following the absence of first choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali. Nwabali was excused from camp by coach Eguavoen following the demise of his father.

Excited to have played for Nigeria for the first time in almost a year, Okoye returned to Italy continue with Udinese.
The former Sparta Rotterdam shot-stopper however was diagnosed with a ligament injury in the wrist. He has since undergone a surgery; and is expected to return in few weeks.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, Okoye revealed he’s played the last two months with injury.

“Surgery is done… played the last two months with a broken ligament in my hand,” he posted and was quoted by SCORENigeria.
“For now I’ll be supporting the team from the stands, recover and work hard for a comeback in top form.”
Ex Super Eagles forward deny having children with Ukrainian woman
In another story, former Super Eagles goal-poacher Brown Ideye, denies rumours of having kids in Ukraine.
Several reports has it that a in Ukraine court has awarded alleged Ideye’s ex-partner, Yana Voloschenko $172,000 as cost for the upkeep of his children with her.
Reacting, Ideye now with Enyimba FC took to social media to deny the woman.
According to the former Olympiacos Piraeus forward; he never received any court summons in respect of this case.
“This had come to my notice and I just want to make it clear that I don’t know this woman or have anything with her,” the former Dynamo Kiev star posted on Instagram
“She’s not my wife or my ex-wife.
“Long time ago, I was connected on IG by some page I don’t know, asking me for money in which I declined and block(ed).
“Every day they keep opening new IG accounts, writing my friends and loved ones about bullshit like this.
