Libya senior men’s national head coach Nasser Al-Hadira cries over his side’s lack of preparation ahead of Super Eagles clash this Friday: npflupdates.com reports.
The Super Eagles will entertain the Mediterranean Knights of Libya at the Godswill Akpabio stadium this Friday.
The three-time African champions are top of the group table while the North African opponents are bottom. And with Nasser as new coach of the Knights, better result is expected.
Nasser has since cried over his side’s lack of preparation ahead of the crucial tie.
What Nasser said about Super Eagles game
“We have not yet reached the required level of readiness to face a strong team like Nigeria,” Nasser revealed.
“The team were not in good shape before I took over.
“The absence of several players in our first training sessions has made it difficult to establish a comprehensive tactical plan for the match.
“This lack of preparation presents an additional challenge for the team, who will need to put in extra effort to secure a positive result away from home.
“Our aim is to at least return with a draw to keep our qualification hopes alive.”
In another report, Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-samuel may be returning to England next summer.
The Fenerbache defender is in the last year of his contract, and is expected to renew his deal or depart as a free agent.
