What was said about Ahmed Musa and Super Eagles provisional list invitation
“Well, I think, in my own opinion, inviting Ahmed Musa back to the national team is a good one.

“Ahmed Musa has been a very great motivator to the team and he is a very highly experienced and disciplined player.
Speaking further he said, “For the new gaffer to call him, he must have seen something in him. Although Ahmed Musa might not be playing in Europe again, but he is playing in one of the top club sides in Nigeria.
“In Nigeria, he has made a lot of impact. He has scored many goals and also influenced the team (Kano Pillars). It is a good moment for him, he can bring his experience to play in the matches and to also motivate others,” he concluded.
In a similar situation, Mr. Elijah rubbished the exclusion of Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi from the squad.
According to him, Awoniyi is always dedicated and perform very well whenever he is in the colours of Nigeria.

“It is not justified. Sincerely, to exclude Taiwo Awoniyi, who has been part of the team for a very long time.
“He didn’t have the chance to express himself, unfortunately, he was ruled out due to injuries. But when he was invited to play for his country, he made his mark,” he said.
“And how can you call up thirty-nine players without Taiwo Awoniyi, who has been part of the team for a long time—to me it is unfair,” he concluded.
In another story, former England international, Joe Cole canvass for the integration of winger Ethan Nwaneri into the English national team.
Nwaneri currently plays for Arsenal FC and England’s U-21. But Cole is of the opinion; Nwaneri should join Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions.
“For me, he(Nwaneri) is so good that he doesn’t need the U21s,” Cole told TNT Sports.
“He needs to go straight in with Thomas Tuchel, get around the England squad and get some minutes, because he is an England player for the next 10-15 years.
