Jelicia Westhoff, girlfriend and baby-mama of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, is asking for forgiveness following her social media rant last weekend; npflupdates.com reports.
Taking to her Instagram, Jelicia accused the Super Eagles shot-stopper of neglect and lack of support for his family.
According to the Dutch model, Maduka lacked respect for her and their son Emilio; stressing that she’s done with the relationship.

“Maduka Okoye. You have no respect for the family you decided to create. And i am done with you. I repeat i am done with you. I am DONE WITH YOU,” She posted on her Instagram story and was quoted by NPFLUpdates Nigeria.

“This isn’t about another woman. It’s about the lack of respect men are having these days for their wife, the mother of their kids.”
“I have always been too good, too real, too loyal, too kind, too respectiul its not worth it at the end the same people will put strangers above you, and disrespect you in front of anybody.”
Shockingly, the mother of one reversed from her initial decision of moving away from the relationship.
Apologising, she blamed her rant on a friend who tried to bring her out of character.
“l am posting this message to sincerely apologise about the recent activities on my social media. My self respect matters to me a lot and unfortunately I allowed an Individual to bring me out of character.
“It was completely out of character of me to do such, however moving forward l’ve learnt massively how scenes like today have an affect or so many circumstances,” she posted on her Instagram story.
“I should never have allowed someone to bring me out of character. But I take today as a learning curve to never allow this to happen again,” she continued.
The Amsterdam-based model expressed delight that her four-year relationship with the Super Eagles shot-stopper didn’t crash.
“Glady myself and Maduka have resolved our differences and are now looking forward to being the happy family that we are,” she concluded.
Victor Olatunji want Super Eagles invitation
In another story, Sparta Prague forward Victor Olatunji expresses interest in Super Eagles position.
The Super Eagles is currently endowed with powerful strikers like Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho amongst others; but Olatunji is upbeat he can make a difference if given a chance.
According to the player, it’d be a dream come true for him to wear the Nigeria colour and represent Nigerians.
“It is a big goal for any young player, especially for us Nigerians. We are proud to play for our country. Just wearing a green jersey and an eagle emblem will give a player motivation.
“He will realize that he represents a country of more than 220 million people. And that makes him work with all his heart,” he said in recent interview.
Asked whether anyone from the national team or the Nigeria Football Federation had reached out to him, Olatunji responded, “Not yet.”
Olatunji further revealed that his goal siuuuuuu celebrations is to pay tribute to Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Exactly, mainly because of his (Ronaldo’s) ability and hard work on and off the field. That inspires me, I want to be the same,” Olatunji said.

Olatunji continued, “I never met him and he never wrote to me. Unfortunately, he is no longer playing in the Champions League, so at least with this celebration I am reminding him of what he accomplished in this competition.”
