Bayer 04 Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface, has provided two key reasons why his side wouldn’t underrate UEFA Europa League opponent npflupdates.com reports.

Boniface will return to Norway for the first time since he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League Royale Union Saint Gilloise last August.
Xabi Alonso’s men will hope to continue its unbeaten and winning run in the UEFA Europa League when they encounter Molde on Thursday.
The 22-year-old is expecting a difficult game against the modest side. According to the youngster, Molde wouldn’t be a walkover as some punters have speculated.
Boniface spoke to his teammates out of experience, having played against the former Norwegian champions a couple of times during his time at Bodø and Glimt.
To help his club overcome the Norwegian giants, Boniface pointed two key areas/reason of interest.
First, the Super Eagles forward, talked about the club’s consistency in the Norwegian Eliteserien. The Nigerian, told Bayer 04 Leverkusen, that their consistency in the league, also extends to their performances in a European competition.

“Molde are one of the top teams in the Norwegian league and they compete for the title year after year,” Boniface told the club’s official website and was quoted by Dailypost Nigeria.
“Molde were the reigning champions when I joined Bodø/Glim in 2019, and in the next two years when we won the league, Molde was the main competitor as runners-up.”
Secondly, the one-capped Super Eagles forward, talked about the disadvantages his side will encounter as a result of the artificial turf at the home of Molde.
“We definitely can’t afford to underestimate them also because they are at home,” he continued.

“The artificial pitch there could be to their advantage. For us, there will be rather unusual playing conditions,” he added.
Boniface finished last season’s UEFA Europa League as a joint top scorer with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. And he will hope to replicate such feat this season playing for Leverkusen.
