Bayer 04 Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface expresses satisfaction over his team’s performances so far in the German Bundesliga npflupdates.com reports.

Victor Boniface and his Bayer Leverkusen sides have been instrumental this season with their undefeated run in German Bundesliga.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen so has played three home games and have interestingly won all three games, and currently in top spots of the league.
Last weekend, Boniface was on target twice as Leverkusen thrash newcomers FC Heidenheim 4-1 at the BayArena. The goals ensured that since arriving Germany from Belgian outfit Royale Union Saint Gilloise, Boniface has scored more than six goals across all competitions for Leverkusen.
And in an interview with club’s media, the Nigerian explained the wins and good performances as having a “good team.”
According to him, his side is moved by hunger for success and willingness to work hard.

Boniface provides reason for good form in Germany
“We have a very good team. I think the key is a mixture of our hunger for success, the joy of playing and above all, the willingness to work very hard. That’s what makes us stand out!,” he said.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen’s head coach, Xabi Alonso, after the FC Heidenheim game, admitted his side’s commitment and team spirit.
According to the former Real Madrid player, it’s important his team didn’t lose focus even in the face of tough times and opponents.
“We were ready for a tough game. We had enough chances in the first half to score the second goal. When they equalized, it was important that we didn’t lose control,” he said.
“We continued to play with concentration. Jonas’ goal was important. I’m happy with the performance, the commitment and the team spirit of the players.”

Boniface is the only player with highest number of shots on goal in a single Bundesliga game since 2009. He shot at Bayern Munich’s goal 29 times during their 2-2 draw few weeks ago.
More interestingly, his fine form and goal contributions earned him his first Rookie Of The Month award last August.
