Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba FC has slaps 450,000,000 Naira(€500k) on top striker Chukwuemeka Obioma.
Enyimba won its Ninth Nigeria Premier League title two weeks ago after acquiring maximum points from the Super Six playoffs in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Enyimba has nine points as well as second-placed Remo Stars and third-placed Rivers United. But the People’s Elephant emerged champions for having highest goal aggregates.

And on course to the victory, striker Chukwuemeka Obioma contributed immensely, scoring 16 goals in over 20 matches. And having accumulated the highest number of goals, the 22-year-old emerged the highest goalscorer. Thereby winning the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier League Golden Boot award.
Also, the former Abia Warriors marksman was the first and only player to score a League hat-trick when he netted thrice at home in a League fixture.
A lot of offers from clubs in Nigeria and abroad are presently on the table of Enyimba for the player. According to reliable sources, the club is not willing to sell the player because of their chances in the continent next season. But the former Heartland FC forward, isn’t ready to sign a contract extension, insinuating he wants to leave at the expiration of his contract in the summer.

And with the situation on ground, the former CAF Champions League winners are willing to listen to offers to the tune of €500,000.
What Enyimba wants for Emeka Obioma
“We don’t want to allow him(Emeka) leave the club. Because we want to get back to the continent and dominate. But it seems he doesn’t want an extension; so, we can allow him go. But the buyers must show some seriousness for that to happen,” a top club official told npflupdates.
Enyimba will kickstart their journey towards dominating the continent later this year(August).
