
NFF unveil Eric Chelle as new head coach
The Nigeria Football Federation NFF, Monday unveiled Eric Sekou Chelle as new Super Eagles head coach; npflupdates.com reports.
Eric Chelle was unveiled earlier today at the conference room of Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
And according to Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, Chelle will join the Super Eagles B team in Ikenne.

The home-based team is currently in Ikenne as they prepare for the upcoming African Championship tournament. A tournament participated by players who ply their trade within the continent.
The CHAN team was headed initially by Coach Daniel Ogunmodede and Fidelis Illechukwu. Eric Chelle will now supervise the team’s activities, when he joins the team.
What the NFF said about Eric Chelle and CHAN Eagles
“Eric Chelle will be departing Abuja for Ikenne Remo in Ogun State to join the camp of the home-based Eagles. He will take on a supervisory role as he gets familiar with the players, working closely with the coaches to oversee the team’s activities,” Ibrahim Gusau stated.

Coach Chelle, on his part promised to help the team score goals and win games. According to the former MC Oran gaffer, he’s management is characterized by goals.
“I love scoring goals. My teams are never lacking in goals, and the Super Eagles will be no exception – we will score goals,” Chelle was quoted by Sports journalist Tolu Oguntimehin.

In his statement, Ikpeba remains upbeat that with full support of the fans and NFF, the Malian will succeed.

“We’re in a tight corner in the World Cup qualifying campaign, and we must back him to get the best out of the players, who are the main actors in this situation. I am optimistic that with the support of Nigerians, we will still qualify for the World,” Ikpeba noted.
