The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been hit hard yet again by injury as one of its top player suffer injury setback npflupdates.com reports.
Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze based on report by Italian outfit AC Milan has suffered a hamstring injury.

According to a statement on the club’s official website, the player who returned to the club after a successful outing with the Super Eagles of Nigeria sustained the injury while playing for Nigeria.
Chukwueze was in action when Nigeria played out a 2-2 draw with the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia last Friday.

“Samuel Chukwueze is already back at Milanello: the Nigerian suffered a left hamstring injury while away on international duty,” said the former Serie A champions in a statement on the club’s website.
However, Milan did not specify the length of time the winger will be absent. But reports from Italian press has suggested that the former Villarreal CF winger Chukwueze will be out for at least one month.
The Super Eagles will exchange tackles with the Lesotho national team on 13 November 2023, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, AkwaIbom State; before travelling to Kigali Rwanda, to engage Zimbabwe.

Chukwueze now joins another players Victor Osimhen and Taiwo Awoniyi on the list of players out of the international fixture due to injury.
