Red hot Nigerian forward, Gift Orban, has been invited to the Olympic Eagles Abuja camp NPFL Updates exclusively reports.
Orban has been in fine form for his Belgian Club KAA Gent since joining from Stabaek in Norway.
He scored seven goals in his last two outings, and a total of twelve in his nine matches for the Belgium giants.
His last seven goals came in a UEFA Europa Conference League fixture against Istanbul Basaksheir, and against Zulte Waregem a local fixture.
His goal-scoring prowess didn’t go unnoticed by the Nigeria U-23 coach, Salisu Yusuf, who’s looking to qualify for the next edition of AFCON U-23.

The 20-year-old was not intially invited when the list was released earlier this Month. He’s now included due to his ablities.
Prior to his national invitation, former Super Eagles forward, Julius Aghaghowa , advised now is the time to invite and have him on board.
NPFL Updates also gathered, four other foreign-based players were invited alongside Orban.
The invited players are, Abiodun Ogunniyi ‘Omo Jesu’ Oluwatimilehin (FK Auda, Lativia), Michael Ologo(Istanbulspor, Turkey), Isaiah Ejeh(Mjallby, Sweden). Ibrahim Sanusi (Montreal Impact, United States).
Also, five other abroad-based players are expected to join the national team.
Recall, no fewer than sixteen players were sent home from camp over age discrepancies.
The players are expected to report in camp latest Tuesday morning ahead of the first leg of the fixture.
Nigeria will welcome, Guinea on 22 March at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
A return fixture will be held in Guinea six days after, on 28 March.
The winner of the two-legged tie already have one foot at the AFCON.
