Osimhen Should Be Calm And Focused, So He Can Win Ballon d’Or – Amunike

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been told to remain calm and focused on his career so he can achieve more great feats in the world of football npflupdates.com reports.

In a recent conversation with Tribal Football, Amunike appreciated Osimhen’s representation of African talent on a global scale. He also while emphasised the importance of a sustained focus and more hard-work.

According to the former Sporting CP winger, Africa has a lot of excellent talents, who currently ply their trade in Europe.

“Yeah, we have seen already there are some excellent young (African) players who are currently playing in Europe,

“For example, we have a Senegal player called (Pape Matar) Sarr who is playing for Tottenham, there’s (Samu) Chukwueze at Milan. And of course, Osimhen at Napoli. I think in the future we will see new names and new faces.” Amunike was quoted by Soccernet Nigeria.

In his conclusion, the 1996 Summer Olympics gold medalist expressed optimism about witnessing new players shaping the future of African football.

He advised players to remain steadfast, telling the current CAF Player Of The Year (POTY) to be calm.

He(Osimhen) just needs to stay calm and focused the good things will come to him,” Amunike added.

Osimhen is expected to make the Super Eagles squad that will execute the 2023 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
