According to Nathan Tella, it will be a dream come true if he gets a Super Eagles invitation, and also possibly a debut. The former Burnley winger, in the past expressed willingness to represent Nigeria internationally despite being born and bred abroad.

Recall npflupdates.com reported how Tella publicly acknowledged how much he’d cherish a Super Eagles invitation. According to the 23-year-old, he’s been an England boy, but is now ready for the Super Eagles.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles trio of Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen will be out for this month’s 2026 FIFA world cup qualifier fixtures against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
Wilfred Ndidi has been out of action for Leicester City in two matches after suffering a muscle injury. He was expected to return to action last weekend, but was ruled by the club’s medical team.
On the other hand, Samuel Chukwueze is still nursing himself back to injury, after pulling a hamstring playing for Nigeria last month.

“We represent Africa at the world stage and people expect us to do well and that is also a big weight on us but often time we try to do our best but it is not always easy.”
