Former Ajax Amsterdam winger Tijani Babangida reveal sad experiences post a fatal accident that almost cost his life; npflupdates.com reports.
Tijani alongside his family earlier this year was involved in a ghastly motor accident on his way home.

The former winger and his wife(who’s a popular actress in the Northern part of Nigeria), were lucky to have to escaped death. However, their son Fadeel, and brother Ibrahim who was also an ex international both died as a result.
Lovers of football worldwide, especially in the Netherlands have sympathised with the player in one way or the other.
Speaking to the Ajax official website, the former Rods JC player appreciated friends and relations who have been helpful to him in his trying times.
Also, he reveal traveling to the Netherlands so he and the wife who lost half of her face can get better medical care.
Tijani added that watching beautiful moments from the past provide him so much joy. But, trauma sets in after such moments have been forgotten.
What Tijani said about the accident that almost took his life
“This is a nightmare. I think I will live with this trauma for the rest of my life. It is hard to forget about it and move on when you suddenly lose your entire family. This is my first time talking about the accident because I couldn’t do it. I can’t bear looking at photos and videos of my son.
“And my brother, who always joined me when I travelled. For me, I only injured my legs and knees. I had to assist my wife. That’s why I came here with my wife to get proper medical treatment. It’s hard.
“After three months in the Netherlands, I was finally able to tell her that our child was in the car when the accident took place. She started [to] ask about his name. She can’t remember anything about him. She’s so strong that she managed to survive,” Babangida told Ajax website and was quoted by PUNCH Nigeria.

Tijani and his wife are expected to stay in the Netherlands for as long as possible, so that they can recover fully.
Delegation from the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, paid Tijani a visit while he was still in a hospital in Nigeria.
