Super Eagles defense Tyronne Ebuehi will miss the international friendlies against the Black Stars of Ghana and Eagles of Mali; npflupdates.com reports.
Ebuehi sustained a career-ending injury last weekend when Empoli played against Bologna away in the Italian Serie A.
According to a report by the Italian outfit, Ebuehi partially ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament(in the right leg).

While confirming the incident via its official official website on Monday Empoli revealed that the appropriate treatment is being carried out on the player.
“Empoli Football Club announces that the instrumental tests to which the player Tyronne Ebuehi, who came off during Friday’s match against Bologna, underwent, highlighted the partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
“The footballer, after having undergone an initial specialist evaluation to establish the recovery path, began the appropriate treatments with the Azzurri healthcare staff.”
The 13 capped Super Eagles defender will no longer be available for selection when the three-time African champions exchange tackles with Ghana and Mali later this month.
Recall, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) scheduled a friendly game with Ghana and Mali to happen in Marrakech Morocco, on 22 and 26 March respectively.
Also in the list of players who will not make the squad for the international duty due to injury are: Taiwo Awoniyi, Stanley Nwabali, Victor Osimhen(doubtful), Bright Osayi-Samuel(doubtful).
