Black Stars of Ghana’s winger, Mohammed Kudus has opened up on the speculated rivalry between him and Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen npflupdates reports.

Kudus is being considered as the current best Ghanaian footballer. And has been drawing a lot of interest from top clubs in Europe. And according to TransferMarket, the Ajax Amsterdam winger is valued at €30M.
Also at the 2022 edition of the FIFA world cup in Qatar, Kudus was a standout player for the Ghanaian team. And always a thorn in the flesh of opposition defenders and goakeepers. He’s arguably the best active winger from West Africa.
And often times, because of his performances for both club and country, fans argue he’s a better player than Osimhen.
Last season, the 22-year-old scored 11 goals and has 3 assists to his name for Ajax Amsterdam. And aside Ajax, he is helping Ghana qualify for the AFCON tournament that will hold in Ivory Coast next year.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen last season helped Napoli win its first Scudetto title in more than three decades. Also, he finished as the Italian Serie A highest goalscorer; becoming the first African to achieve such feat.
According to transfermarket, Victor Osimhen is the most valuable player in the Italian Serie A. He is valued at €180M by Napoli; and that’s a tactics to drive away potential suitors.

Going by a source close to the Ghanaian, Kudus denied any existing rivalry between Osimhen.
According to the source, the winger is only interested in helping Ghana’s Black Stars and Ajax Amsterdam win titles.
No rivalry between Victor Osimhen and Kudus
“There’s no rivalry between Osimhen and Kudus. And you can quote me anywhere,” he said pleading anonymity.
“For me it’s just the fans doing that; and of course giving the media stories to write. He(Kudus) is only interested in helping the Black Stars and Ajax win trophies. And not any sort of rivalry; and I know it’s same as Osimhen.”
