Speaking to the media in a recent interview, former international, Mutiu Adepoju urges Chelle to maintain the team’s formation for the Rwanda games.

Under ex manager Jose Peseiro, the 2023 AFCON finalist utilised a counter-attacking formation. Adepoju is of the opinion, that the same formation be maintained as it is already familiar with the players.
“A system like that will be a little bit strange to the players and the fans as well,” Adepoju told Afrik-Foot.
“What we are used to is playing from the wings, having the ball all the time, and having players that can take it from the wings. It might take time to understand, but it depends on the players,” Adepoju said.
