During the camping session, is expected to hold pre-season friendly and test matches. Because, it will help the players get acclimatized to the new country and weather.
Sadly, the Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum, accused the NFF of lack of support for the women’s national team. Also, he accused the team of being responsible for the retrogressive growth witnessed in the Super Falcons. And his outburst generated a lot of controversial statements from Pundits, journalists and football executives.
However, the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, through its Director of communications Ademola Olajire, responded to the accusations by the American.
According to Olajire, the NFF is bent of providing any type of support to ensure the growth of the national teams. He also, called out the tactician for snubbing midfielder Ngozi Okobi, despite knowing her contributions to the team.
And when the fans think the apportioning of blames between the NFF and coach Randy will affect the team’s outing at the world cup, Super Falcons midfielder is saying otherwise.
Super Falcon promise to win the world cup
“Yes I am aware of the altercation. And I can tell you, it doesn’t get to the player’s spirit” she said when asked about the mood of the girls after the outburst.
“The coach(Randy) is doing his job, likewise the NFF. But we’re all humans, we tend to misunderstand ourselves sometimes. But our spirit is very high; and that’s an assurance.”
