On-fire Nigerian youngster, Gift Orban, has set a new UEFA competitions record NPFL Updates exclusively reports.
The scoring prowess of Gift Orban on Wednesday evening took another dimension after he scored thrice in three minutes and twenty-five seconds to help his side progress to the Quarter-finals of Europa Conference League.
The former Stabaek forward, is now officially the player with the fastest hat-trick goal in a UEFA competition. The record was previously held by Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah who scored a hat-trick in six minutes; and Patson Daka who scored three in nine minutes.

Just last weekend, during a Pro League fixture against Zulte Waregem, Gift struck four times to help his side win in a six-goal thriller.
Gift is seriously been linked with a move to the English Premier League with Westham showing interest in the youngster. Any potential suitors, will have to cough out to the tune of fifty million Euros. A price tag which was recently slapped on the forward by his Manager.
Gift Orban Valued At €40M:
“Forty million. Although it may be around fifty million,” Gent Manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck said after the Zulte Waregem match last weekend.
On the contrary, the goal-scoring king in an interview with Gent’s website confirmed it’s not yet time for him to move out of Belgium.
According to him, he must first improve on himself, so as to suit the type of quality exhibited in EPL.
“My level has to be even higher if I ever want to play in the Premier League. There’s still a lot of work to be done,” he told the media.
