Dele Alli Banished From Besiktas Squad, Told To Watch Matches From The Stands

Dele Alli career at Turkish side Besiktas JK may have just hit the rocks after he was allegedly asked to watch from the stands by Coach Senol Gunes npflupdates exclusively reports.

Dele Alli, since his arrival at the Turkish side from English side Everton, has managed a total of thirteen games in the Super Lig. He only scored twice on those occasions.

According to a report by Turkish outfit, Takvim, Alli was asked to excuse himself from the squad. He will allegedly watch their remaining Super Lig matches from the stands pending his return to Everton.

Alli in most recent past weeks featured threw times for the former Turkish Champions. His last fixture was against Antalyaspor, he failed to impress and was substituted out during the break.

Recall, the 37-capped England international was booed off a Turkish Cup fixture by Besiktas’ fans last December. And that’s because of his lack of productivity in the game.

Also legendary football Manager Jose Mourinho, during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, told Alli to work his behaviour, abilities on and off the pitch. Mourinho had feared Alli may not reach his full potentials if he fails to heed his advice.

“I am 56 now and yesterday I was 20,” Mourinho told the Alli during a conversation at the club’s training ground.

“Time flies. One day, I think you will regret it if you don’t reach what you can reach.”

Alli will return to Everton this summer, hoping to reignite his goal-scoring form under new Manager Sean Dyce.

Alli’s regression could be traced back to when he left Tottenham Hotspur and joined the Merseyside Blue.
