Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru will become first Super Eagles player to move to Saudi Arabia this summer if he completes a move to Al Feiha this summer.
The dribble-king arrived Saudi Arabia on Thursday to have his medicals at the club. And the move is coming as a surprise to fans of the Nigerian who had thought he’d be staying Europe.

Because few weeks ago, the former Monaco winger made his loan move to Demirspor from Greek Olympiacos permanent.

According to a source in Turkey, the 16-capped Super Eagles player had an issue with the club’s officials. Hence, his quick move away from the Turkish giants.
Interestingly, the Saudi Arabia Pro League is the latest new haven for players in European clubs. And that mass exodus was allegedly orchestrated by Ronaldo’s move to the Middle-East.
Ronaldo joined Al Nasr from Manchester United shortly after the 2022 FIFA world cup in Qatar. And has since his move, media interests were drawn to the Saudi league.
Interestingly, 2022 FIFA men’s Balon d’Or winner, Karim Benzema has moved to the league. And the former Real Madrid attacker har signed a 3-year-deal with former champions Al Ittihad.
Few weeks after Benzema’s move, another France international, N’golo Kante also joined Al Ittihad from Chelsea. Also, the former Leicester City’s midfielder penned a 3-year deal.
And not too long ago, some African players have moved to Saudi Pro League. With Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly leading the charge.

Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez, recently completed a move to the Saudi Arabian league.
Also, Barcelona’s and Ivory Coast Midfielder, Franck Jessie moved to Al Ahli last week after enduring a hard start in Spain.
But the latest African player to move, drawing media attention is Sadio Mane. He joined Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nasr, becoming Africa’s highest paid player, earning around €600K weekly wages.
