Super Eagles legend, Joseph Dosu has expressed shock and disappointment over the controversial statement by Jose Peseiro and goalkeeper Francis Uzoho npflupdates.com reports.

Joseph Dosu an Olympic Gold Medalist cried foul over the statement of Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro after fans called out Francis Uzoho over his goalkeeping blunders against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique last weekend and on Monday respectively.
Last Friday, Uzoho howled a harmless free-kick into his own net, a goal which gave the Asians the lead against Nigeria in Portimao.
Speaking after match Peseiro revealed goalkeepers are no longer comfortable playing for Nigeria because of incessant attacks from supporters.
“When I arrived here, I remember I was told to change the goalkeeper. I spoke with all of them, No one feels comfortable because everybody attacked them,” he said.
Speaking further the former Sporting CP gaffer, questioned why only goalkeepers are attacked, but strikers given a soft-landing when they miss goal-scoring chances.
“The goalkeepers never play free or calm because of the people. I don’t know why they attack the goalkeepers every time.
“Why don’t they attack the strikers when they lose the ball or miss a goal, why?,” the 63-year-old queried.
Reacting, Joseph Dosu, who was with Nigeria at the summer Olympics in 1996, expressed disappointment.

What Joseph Dosu said about Jose Peseiro
“I was shocked when I read the comments of Jose Peseiro which suggested that there is no problem. He said when strikers miss goals they are not criticised, which means he does not want his goalkeepers to be called out even when they make mistakes,” Dosu told DailyTrust Nigeria.
“I am surprised that he is comfortable with what is happening and his employers are not saying anything. Well, if NFF are comfortable with it, that’s fine.”
Speaking about Uzoho, the former retired Super Eagles goalkeeper, expr seed shock that the Omonia Nicosia goalie would attack fans who meant well for him.
“I also read that Uzoho himself said those Nigerians who are criticising him should come for trials in Europe and show how good they are. Maybe he is not happy with those who want him to be a better goalkeeper.”
Uzoho on Tuesday afternoon, via Snapchat message urged critics to get signed by a foreigner if they think they’re good enough.
“If Easy do am, make Oyibo Man Sign you,” the ,24-year-old said.

“It is surprising how these present players respond to those who criticise them. If even former internationals are not qualified to correct them, then it is better to keep quiet,” said the former Julius Berger keeper.
