Samuel Kalu was nominated for the covetous award for the month of October after helping Lausanne Sports win games last month.

Last month, he scored once and also assisted once, to help his side stay relevant and in contention for the Swiss League title.
He will compete with striker Kaly Sene, Midfielders Alvyn Sanches and Antoine Bernede. Also defender Noe Dussenne is also among the listed players.
Meanwhile, yesterday against FC Lugano, Kalu put up a good finish scoring one goal(the opener) in the 71st minute, as well as assisting another later on to help Lausanne Sports secure a comfortable victory.
