The 23-year-old former Rangers Glasgow defender disclosed this after Fulham and Manchester United clashed in the English Premier League last weekend.

“Now that I’m playing on the opposite side, he plays on the opposite side, just giving me some advice like any top player would,” he continued.
“He was incredible at Leicester and still is. To do what he did for Leicester was amazing.”
Maguire was the best Leicester City defender when he was with the Foxes, before leaving in 2019, a year before Bassey departed for Glasgow Rangers.
Interestingly, both players were in action last weekend, but in opposite directions as Fulham(Bassey) and Manchester United(Maguire) played on Saturday in a week 11 fixture of the Premier League at the Craven Cottage.
In another story, Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban, has lashed out on KAA Gent Coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck following his relegation to the bench.
So far this season, Orban has just started six out of thirteen Jupiler Pro League games for Gent; and looked dissatisfied with that.
The 21-year-old Super Eagles eligible, made it very clear, he’d prefer looking elsewhere if he doesn’t get what he wants playing for the Buffalos.

“I am not a player who gains confidence when he comes on,” Orban told Het Nieuwsblad.
“I am a player who starts and must be able to grow in a match. A club cannot destroy my career. I keep working. If it doesn’t work here, go somewhere else.”
