Super Eagles midfielder Alexander Iwobi reveals how his father’s advice was all that spured and helped him to save up his fortunes npflupdates.com reports.
Iwobi told Hoil Boys Podcast that his father was the force behind his idea of investing and at the same saving up his money.

Iwobi talks about his father’s advise to be prudent
The former Arsenal playmaker, shared his dad taught him how to be prudent.
“When I was sixteen, I went out with my friends to get food, and it cost about fourty pounds. I offered to pay and the card got declined, as it turned out I had run my account empty,” the former Everton midfielder was quoted by Soccernet Nigeria.
Further, the 27-year-old reminisced how his father advised him to to invest his money after signed his first professional contract with Arsenal.
“As soon as I got my first professional contract, my dad told me to invest, and it has helped me a lot. I thank God for my Dad,” the Arsenal Academy graduate shared on the podcast.
Iwobi having graduated from the Arsenal Academy, began his professional career with the senior team, then under manager Arsene Wenger.
At Arsenal he made over hundred appearances, winning the FA Cup in 2017; and scoring in the club’s bitter UEFA Europa League final loss to Chelsea in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Iwobi is expected to be part of the Super Eagles team that will travel for the 2023 African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.
In the past, the Midfielder was part of the Super Eagles at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt where Nigeria won a bronze medal; and also the 2021 edition in Cameroon where Nigeria were knocked out by Tunisia.
