President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, expresses dissatisfaction over the performances of the Super Eagles against Equatorial Guinea npflupdates.com reports.
Nigeria kick-started it’s charge for a fourth Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) title with a draw against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday. A result which the NFF isn’t comfortable with.

Goals from Ivan Salvador of Equatorial Guinea, and Victor Osimhen ensured that both sides shared the spoils of the mouthwatering fixture.
Going into the game as the big dogs, many had thought the Super Eagles will defeat Equato-Guinea, but the Guineans pulled a surprise; stood their grounds and earned the deservedly point.

According to the NFF President, the national team players couldn’t secure all three points despite having every necessary backing from the government of the day.
“After all the things the Government has done to support the team, you couldn’t play well,” a furious Gusau hit out at the players while also questioning their commitment to the national team as reported by SCORENigria.
“Is this how you play at your various clubs in Europe?”
In another statement, American gaffer Randy Waldrum has signed a renewed contract with the NFF, and will continues as the Super Falcons coach.
Waldrum last featured in Super Falcons game in 2023, during a FIFA women’s world cup tournament against England’s Lionesses in Australia. He has since then missed Super Falcons Olympics qualifier fixtures against Ethiopia, with his assistant Justin Magudu standing in as head coach.

“I can confirm that @CoachWaldrum officially remains @NGSuper_Falcons coach. @thenff President @IbrahimMusaGus1 has signed the contract. Waldrum has submitted his program for the team. With an @Paris2024 @Olympics qualifier against @LionnesIndompt1 in mid-February, I hope he’s mobilised quickly,” journalist Osasu Obayiuwana posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.
