Ifeanyi Anaemena has made a sharp return to the Nigeria Premier Football League From a Saudi club NPFL Updates exclusively reports.
According to credible sources, the lucrative defender has signed for Remo Stars for the remainder of the season.
The NPFL is currently on a mid-season break due to the Presidential and forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
NPFL Updates understood the 31-year-old has completed his medicals and joined his teammates in camp.
This is not the first stint Anaemena is having in the local league. He started his career at Giwa FC before moving to Enyimba.

He spent at least seven seasons with the eight time NPFL Champions. John Anaemena has also played for NPFL Champions Rivers United.
John moved to Saudi Arabia Premier League in the 2021/2022 season, and signed for Al-Nadah FC . He endured a hard start to life in the Asian country.
Due to his high defending skills, Anaemena once enjoyed an invitation to the national team.
He will now employ his wealth of experience in the Remo Stars defense, helping them to challenge for the league title.
Remo Stars enjoyed a good campaign during the first half of the season.
