The Nigeria Football Federation NFF, seems to have agreed a deal with German tactician Winfred Schafer for the Super Eagles coaching position; npflupdates.com reports.
The Super Eagles is still without a substantive coach since the resignation of coach Finidi George last June.
The management of the three-time African champions was in the hands of the Technical Director of the NFF, Augustine Eguavoen during the last AFCON qualifier games against Benin Republic in Uyo, and Rwanda in Kigali.

According to a report by the Guardian , the Nigeria Football Federation has agreed a deal with the former Stuttgart manager.
Schafer is endowed with national team coaching experience having managed the indomitable lions of Cameroon, and Jamaica.
Recall, the Nigeria Football Federation is still looking out for a permanent coach which will steer the Super Eagles ship to safety in the 2026 FIFA world cup qualification.

At the time of this report, the NFF is yet to make any official announcement concerning the spreading speculations.
