The Super Eagles of Nigeria will hope to finish good at the 2025 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco; npflupdates.com reports.
The AFCON draw which was held yesterday evening in Morocco, saw three-time African champions Nigeria in Group C alongside Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania.

Supporters see the group as easy; and being hopeful the Super Eagles can easily qualify from the group stages.
Speaking to the media ex international Mutiu Adepoju warned there’s no small team in Africa.
According to him, it’s important Nigeria take any team it come up against very serious.

“There is no small team in Africa anymore. We just have to prepare very well and play our best when the time comes. On paper, it doesn’t look easy, but it’s not inaccessible either,” he said.
Adepoju talked down the idea of an opportunity for the Super Eagles to have a revenge against Tunisia.
Recall, the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia knocked out the Super Eagles at a previous edition in Cameroon.
“There’s no need for revenge. We just need to concentrate. We know what happened in that game, but I believe this time, we are going to win.”
Eric Chelle will bring out the best in Super Eagles – Ikpeba
In similar story, AFCON legend, Victor Ikpeba insists the draw was a fair one for the Nigeria team.
“I will take the Super Eagles group as against some of the other first round groups,” Ikpeba said was quoted by SCORENigeria.
“It will be difficult because even the so-called small teams have made a lot of progress as we saw at the last AFCON.
“But we have what it takes to get out of the group.”
Speaking about the experience of the Nigeria new coach, Ikpeba revealed Eric Chelle will bring out the best in the Super Eagles as he’s young with a good knowledge of African Football.

“He’s a young coach and has a good knowledge of African football,” he said.
“He will get the best out of the Super Eagles.
