Fans of the Super Eagles of Nigeria are calling for the immediate exclusion of Ahmed Musa from the S’Eagles squad.
Nigeria will come up against the Lone Stars of Sierra Leone on Sunday in Monrovia. And that will be for the reverse fixture of the tie that ended 2-1 in favour of the Eagles last year. And a win for Nigeria will guarantee a ticket for the next AFCON tournament.

And last weekend, Super Eagles’ coach, Jose Peseiro unveiled a 23-man list for the mouthwatering fixture. So, just when Nigerians are expected to be happy with the list, they are instead agitated over the inclusion of some household names.
Nigerians across social media platforms, have suggested that Ahmed Musa Joe Aribo and Kelechi Iheanacho be excluded from the team. Musa has struggled in front of goal for his Turkish side Sivasspor. And as a matter of fact, the Nigeria’s World Cup hero, has failed to score at least five Super Lig goals in more almost a year

However, Jose Peseiro, has explained the infusion of Musa and exclusion of Gift Orban and Victor Boniface.
And according to the Portuguese, Musa is a winger with a lot of options. While Boniface and Gift are forwards, which their inclusion will be deemed surplus.
