According to the former Arsenal playmaker, preparation for the fixture is intense; with players having it at the back of their minds that it’s a match between arch rivals.
“It’s a game against one of our rivals, a nation that is close to us, so we will give our hundred percent and try and to get a good result,” the Fulham star told the Super Eagles media.
“After the competition, we had to go back to our clubs because it was in the middle of the season. We didn’t have much time to reflect on the final defeat to Cote d’Ivoire,”Alex Iwobi continued.
“We want to continue with the form we showed at the AFCON and hopefully improve our performance.”
