Amuneke told to take up Chelsea coaching job
“It’ll be a move to greater heights if he can apply for the Chelsea job. Once his credentials are up-to-date, nothing is stopping him.
“We’ve seen foreign coaches leave their clubs for international duties; so, it’s not a new thing,” Mr. Best said in his analysis Wednesday afternoon.
In another story, Professional Footballers Association Of Nigeria PFAN, has vowed to ensure a probe of the soldiers who allegedly dehumanised a former Super Eagles forward, Uche Nwofor in Onitsha.
According to Uche Nwofor, his dreadlocks was allegedly cut off by some men of the Nigerian military inside the artillery 302, Onitsha.
“What did I do? I am not a yahoo boy, not a tout inside barracks artillery 302. Onitsha sat me on the floor and started barbing my hair after giving information about me. No offence, sir, I am an ex-Super Eagles player. I have met you with the same friends as Ozor, an ex-Enyimb FC player. No violence, just relaxing and drinking as I see army barracks as a safe place to be,” Nwofor narrated his ordeal on his IG profile.
Reacting PFAN task force officer Harrison Jalla, said he would ensure that the issue was investigated thoroughly and the perpetrators brought to book.
He said, “This is incredible and condemnable. As a retired football player who served the country in various capacities, Nwofor shouldn’t be treated so shabbily. He has the right to do whatever he likes with his looks. What gives the soldiers the impression that his dreadlocks are not natural?
