Embattled Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze scored his first ever UEFA Champions League goal for AC Milan since joining from Villarreal CF npflupdates.com reports.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan after spending most time of his career in the Spanish Primera Division were he was contracted with Villarreal CF.

Chukwueze scores first Milan’s UEFA Champions League goal
The former Golden Eaglets winger, endured a hard start to life in the Italian Serie A, Copa Italia; and dropped form which also affected his performances for Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
On Wednesday he scored for the second time since joining Milan last August. However, his goal would only go on to be considered a consolation after Borussia Dortmund beat Milan in a four-goal(3-1) thriller.
Marco Reus called the first shot against Milan when scored from the spot in the 10th minute of the game. Chukwueze equalized in the 37th minute, keeping Milan’s hope alive.

Second-half goals by Bynoe-gittens (59′ mins), and Karim Adeyemi (69′ mins) ensured the boys from Signal Iduna Park emerged victorious.
Chukwueze will no hope to continue his goal-scoring form this weekend when Milan welcome Frosinone at the San Siro.
In another story, Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru is seeking a return back to the national team.
The former AS Monaco winger, confessed he’s not giving up on his dreams of a return to the national team. Henry was with the Super Eagles squad that won bronze at the 2019 edition of AFCON hosted in Egypt.
Also he was part of the team that got knocked out in the Round of 16 in 2021 in Cameroon. But with the arrival of Portuguese tactician Jose Peseiro, Henry hasn’t been getting an invitation.
Still, he has refused to lose hope of getting a late Super Eagles call-up.
“I was there at the last AFCON in Cameroon, and I am really pushing to be there again,” Onyekuru told Arab News.

“In Nigerian football, there is still this negative mentality about the Saudi league – they don’t think it is as intense.
“But I think they should be able to see that now. The players who play here make it competitive. I am not giving up, and anything can happen.”
