Egueavoen Is A Colossal Failure And Can’t Deliver The Super Eagles – Emeka

Amuneke told to take up Chelsea coaching job

The decision of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF to appoint Augustine Egueavoen as the interim manager of the Super Eagles has been criticized by Nigerian star Emeka Ezeugo; npflupdates.com reports.

Ezeugo and Egueavoen were teammates in the Super Eagles when the three-time African champions finished high at the 1994 FIFA world cup tournament in USA.

Recall the Super Eagles have been without a permanent coach since Finidi’s Resignation some weeks ago. And with the 2025 AFCON qualifier in sight, the team will settle with the former defender.

Reacting to the appointment, Emeka described his ex teammate as a “Failure Personified”. He argued that the former defender was the main reason why Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 FIFA world cup in Qatar.

What was said about Egueavoen

“Egueavoen the BACKDOOR GIANT is FAILURE PERSONIFIED. NOTE THAT WE’RE NOT TALKING ABOUT YOUR BOOK BUT MINE. Did Nigeria participate in Qatar World Cup? Who was in charge of Nigeria’s National Team then? Nigeria will not QUALIFY for the next World Cup. Mark my words,” he posted on his Facebook handle.

Emeka further accused the Nigeria Football Federation NFF, of allowing itself to be handled by persons he described as “clueless, unqualified and crooked.”

“THERE’S A DEEPER REASON THAT’S ALIEN TO LITTLE MINDS HERE. THERE’S ALWAYS  A PAYBACK TIME in the culture of cutting corners.  Wasn’t it one hundred percent certain  for Super Eagles to demolish Ghana Blackstars in Abuja and qualify for Qatar World Cup? Why didn’t we participate in that World Cup? NFF has been in the hands of clueless unqualified and crooked people for decades and we’re so cool with it. WE WILL DEFINITELY HARVEST EXACTLY WHAT WE PLANTED.”

In another story, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon remains upbeat the team has the potential to win games.
