Former CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba FC have received an inspiring message from Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro npflupdates.com reports.

Enyimba will come up against Wydad Casablanca in the first leg of the African Football League tie in Uyo, on Sunday.

In a related story, Enyimba playmaker Chidiebere Izuogu, stated that the team is ready to give their all to ensure nothing but victory on Sunday.

“we promise our fans we are going to do our best. The mentality in the camp is very high, the confidence is very high, and every one is preparing to get a win on Sunday,” the 18-year-old said ahead of the match as posted on a Facebook page.

Also midfielder, Eze Ekwutoziam, publicly admitted that their home fans are anticipating a win over the North African giants.

According to the playmaker, the club isn’t under pressure, but are fully committed to the task of getting a victory.

“A lot is expected from us, knowing how strong Wydad AC is. They are one of the biggest clubs in Africa but we are not under pressure,” he said.

“We have been working hard, keeping shape and working on our strategies on how to eliminate them. A lot is expected from us not just from our fans, but Nigerians and our fans across West Africa. We are not going to let them down.”
