Super Falcons defender talks about her retirement
“When I’m done I would make that decision myself, nobody is going to talk me into retirement or make me stop playing,” the Super Falcons leader said to Brila FM.
“It’s the game I love, it’s the game I enjoy so when I’m done when I’m satisfied that I can no longer play I will call it a day, nobody can make me retire when I’m not ready.“
Reacting to the assertion of the Naija Ratels captain, Facebook user, Mo Sa’eed reminded Ebi that there are younger players who needed a spot to showcase their talents. And a possible continuity may hinder such talents from seeing the limelight.
“There are young footballer’s that needs opportunity to work hard and be like u. Please Aunty give way to ur children and thanks for what you’ve been doing for our beloved super falcons,” he commented on a Facebook post.
