Bronze-winning Flying Eagles shot-stopper Chijioke Aniagboso has been handed first call-up to the Super Eagles of Nigeria NPFL Updates reports.
Aniagboso took over the goal post of Isah Ladan Bosso team at the AFCON U-20 tournament after the team’s first group stage. The team lost narrowly to Senegal the tourney’s eventual winners.

In goal against a make-or-marr fixture with the Junior Pharaohs of Egypt, the teenager made two crucial saves to earn first clean-sheet of the tournament.
And he returned in goal as team captain against Mozambique, and kept his second clean-sheet. Flying Eagles won the fixture to progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
He was also in goal when Nigeria beat Uganda to clinch a World Cup ticket. He conceded his first and last goal against Gambia in the semi-final.
His performances in goal earned him a spot in the national team list released Thursday afternoon.

The fixtures will be held in Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, for Nigeria home fixture.
Because no stadium in Guinea-Bissau is up to the standard set by CAF, the Eagles may travel to Morocco.
