The Flamingos of Nigeria(U-17 women’s national team) will face a tough obstacle on their way to qualifying for the 2024 FIFA U-17 women’s world cup tournament npflupdates.com reports.
The Flamingos will be hoping to clinch a ticket for the upcoming FIFA tournament that will be hosted in Dominican Republic later this year.

Flamingos to battle Central African Republic (CAR) in a W’Cup qualifier
According to the fixture schedule, the national team will begin its quest for a place in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup next weekend. And they will take on a very tough and star-studded counterparts in Central African Republic (CAR).
The fixture will be for the second round, with its first leg encounter holding in the Cameroonian city of Douala.
The match which is already scheduled for Sunday, 4th February will take place at the Stade de la Reunification de Douala. The time for the mouthwatering fixture is 3pm Cameroon time.
The reverse fixture will see the Flamingos entertain their visitors at the prestigious Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 10th February 2024.
Coach Bankole Olowookere is expected to open the national team camp anytime starting this weekend.

Recall, the last time the Flamingos were out at the FIFA U-17 World Cup, they achieved a podium finish; defeating Germany to win bronze in India.
