On Monday evening at the Estadio 24 de Setembro stadium in Bissau, Nigeria defeated the Wild Dogs of Guinea-Bissau in the second leg of their double-header AFCON qualifier matches.
Assistant Captain Moses Simon, scored in the 30th minute through a penalty-kick to give the visitors the lead after defender Osayi-Bright Samuel was brought down in the box.
Efforts by the home side to restore parity in the game proved abortive as the Super Eagles held their positions.
Goal-scoring chances were created by the Super Eagles in the second half, but striking duo of Victor Osimhen and Terem Moffi failed to double their lead.
About one-hour after the match, NPFLUpdates gathered that the players are still inside the stadium. According to reliable sources fans of the Guinea-Bissau team barricaded the Super Eagles exit.
According to a media crew of the national team, the fans are showing too much love to the Nigerian superstars. They requested for Matchday jerseys of the players.
It was also gathered that, some players of the Djurtus stormed the Super Eagles dressing room asking for jerseys.
