Victor Osimhen once again had his name on the scoresheet in Saturday’s Serie A fixture away at Leece.
The Nigerian before the Serie A match against Udinese last Wednesday endured a four-game goal drought. And was subsequently trolled in a TikTok video (now deleted) on Napoli’s TikTok handle.
Osimhen in what looked like a response, deleted every picture and videos related to Napoli on his verified Instagram handle. Shockingly to fans, the former Olympique Lille forward was included in Napoli’s squad for a Serie A fixture at home to Udinese Calcio by coach Rudi Garcia.
However, the striker replied his critics by scoring against Udinese, ending the goal-drought. And on Saturday, he extended his Serie A goals to five, when he came off the bench to score against Lecce.
Sources in Italy revealed to npflupdates that some fans expected to be Napoli’s barricaded the way of the Nigerian asking for selfie and autographs.

“I can confirm to you that some fans(expected to be Napoli fans) barricaded the way of Osimhen. The fans asked for autographs and selfies from the Nigerian,” he said.
“You know him(Osimhen) to be a cool guy, he accepted with smiles and it was fun.”

Victor Osimhen is expected to be in the squad for the UEFA Champions League clash with Real Madrid in the mid-week. Napoli share the same 3 points with Madrid after emerging victorious away at SC Braga few weeks ago.
