Post AFCON, it was widely speculated in the media that the former Enyimba FC goalkeeper will be joining Saudi Arabian outfit Al Etifaq.
It was also speculated that, Skybet Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers (QPR) has made enquiries about the 27-year-old.
However, in a recent interview, Nwabali revealed that no offer has been put forward on his table. He however, disclosed that even if there’s any offer, it should be directed to his manager or representative.
Nwabali breaks silence over summer transfer
“You see, to be honest, I’ve never seen anything on my table ever since AFCON,” Nwabali told FARPost.
“Maybe those clubs might have spoken to my team or my manager. But at this point, we can’t do anything.
“And they can’t approach me because it would be unprofessional. They must go to my club or my manager.
He added, “So I don’t know if there’s something on the table maybe waiting for towards summer or transfer window. You know most clubs always do this. When they show interest, you’re opening the way to some other clubs.
“So, some people always keep it a secret, and when they get you, they get you once. For now, I know nothing.”
In another story, AFC Bournemouth forward, Dominic Solanke expresses disappointment for not making England’s squad list during the previous international break.
Dominic has been outstanding for Bournemouth this season, scoring 16 times only two behind Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. But he was snubbed by coach Gareth Southgate, who invited Brentford’s Ivan Tony.
Discussing being snubbed by Southgate, Solanke told Sky Sports as quoted by Daily Echo: “I was disappointed.
“I feel like I’ve had a great season so far.
“Obviously playing for your country is a dream for everyone, so it’s something I wanted to be a part of and didn’t quite manage
“But hopefully if I just keep doing what I’m doing, I can get that chance soon.”
Explaining whether him playing for the Cherries is a factor in not getting called up, Solanke replied: “I’m not sure, to be fair.
