Imade Osarenkhoe, on Sunday evening fired NPFL newcomers Bendel Insurance to victory against a Obioma Chukwuemeka’s Enyimba FC at the Ogbemudia stadium Benin City.
Enyimba going into the game was full of confidence after being unbeaten in their last two matches in the NPFL.

But a resilient Bendel Insurance won’t bow to pressure coming from the former CAF Champions League winners. The Benin Arsenal took hold of Enyimba’s ferocious goalscorer Obioma Chukwuemeka. So, he couldn’t find the back of the net; but surely he will return to scoring goals sooner than later.
Obioma is the current highest goalscorer in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The 24-year-old has scored 7 goals in 8 matches. But was caged in Benin; and couldn’t do much to help his side avoid defeat.

And Imade now has 5 goals in 9 matches. And he’s seriously contending for the Euinsell Golden Boot prize.
Bendel Insurance under the tutelage of Monday, is a delight to watch. Because of the type and style of football they play. They’re the only side in the NPFL that’s yet to lose a single match.
So there’s no doubt they may finish within a continental playoffs by the end of the season.
Enyimba under the tutelage of Finidi George has been a sensation, and a delight to watch. And there’s no doubt the former NPFL Champions can finish within a continental playoff this season.
