Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been urged to join Chelsea in the next winter transfer window npflupdates.com reports.
Victor Osimhen finished last season as the highest goalscorer in the Italian Serie A; also he was awarded as Serie A best striker and best foreign player in Italy.

His fine form has continued this season as he currently has eight Serie A goals in eleven games before being sidelined as a result of an injury he sustained during the last international break.
Mikel Obi who spent over a decade with Chelsea, and was also part of the team that won the club’s first ever UEFA Champions League title in 2012. Mikel spent a good number of years with Drogba at Chelsea, and now he’s canvassing for the Nigerian to join the London-based club.
According to the former Trabzonspor playmaker, Osimhen share some striking similarities with Drogba who was a two-time African Best Player.
Osimhen possesses Drogba’s arrogance
“He’s got the personality and the arrogance,” Mikel said on the Obi One Podcast and was quoted by Soccernet Nigeria.
“When he walks, you can tell someone just walked into the room, and that’s what Didier had. I think he’s pretty close to what Didier was and my advice for him would be to come to Chelsea,” Mikel added.
Meanwhile, in the past the 24-year-old former VFL Wolfsburg forward has sometime in the past publicly acknowledged Didier Drogba as his idol and role model.
“Drogba would forever be my idol and I’m so grateful to him,” Osimhen told the Caf website.

“Choosing him as a role model has really been helpful since my years growing up.
“I have not met him yet and I’m really looking forward to seeing him and getting one of his signed jerseys; that would really be a dream come true for me.
