Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has been named in the list of Africa’s most valuable Starting XI npflupdates.com reports.

Victor Osimhen is the only Nigerian player to make the list of Africa’s most valuable Starting XI based on a publication by transfer-market.
According to the report, English Premier League outfit, West Ham United accounts for three of the players named in the most valuable XI.
Also Napoli boasts of two players, in Victor and Zambo Anguissa of Cameroon. Meanwhile, Manchester United, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Wolverhampton Wanderers, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen have contributed one player each.
Per report by Transfer-market, as published by SunnewsOnline, the eleven players have a combined market value of €533 million.
Interestingly, Super Eagles centre-forward Victor Osimhen is the most expensive African player valued at €120m by the authoritative platform.

In the goalkeeping department is Cameroon international André Onana who recently switched to Manchester United from Serie A giant Inter Milan in the summer transfer window. Onana helped Inter Milan reach its first ever UEFA Champions League final in over a decade last season, but they lost to a star-studded Pep Guardiola tutored Manchester City.
A four-man defence set-up contains Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Edmond Tapsoba (Burkina Faso), Nayef Aguerd (Morocco) and Rayan Aït-Nouri (Algeria).
And into the middle of the pack, Frank Anguissa (Cameroon) and Ismaël Bennacer (Algeria) are the holding midfielders. While Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Mohammed Kudus (Ghana) and Saïd Benrahma (Algeria) playing in more advanced positions.

And Leading the attack is the only Nigerian and second Napoli player named in the best XI, Victor Osimhen.
According to reports, the former Olympique Lille forward, is a joint-fifth most valuable player in the world; behind Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.
In a related story, Napoli Director, Meluso, has revealed President Aurelio Di Laurentiis will be meeting with Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda next week as talks of a contract extension continues.
According to the football executive, it will be in the interest of Osimhen to take out time and think about the contract proposal from Napoli.
