Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen’s mask disappears after a short visit to Nigeria during the international break NPFLUpdates reports.
Osimhen, 24, was in Nigeria last weekend for the Super Eagles AFCON qualifier double-header matches against the Wild Dogs of Guinea-Bissau.
The on-fire striker lead the attack when the Super Eagles shockingly lost to Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on 24 March.

The Wild Dogs took the lead in the 29th minute through a strike by Esperance Sportive Troyes Aube Champagne forward Mama Balde.
Efforts by Osimhen to restore parity in the game proved abortive as the visitors held their positions.
The current Italian Serie A top goalscorer, with 21 goals in 23 appearances also played the whole duration when the Super Eagles beat Guinea-Bissau, at the Estadio 24 de Setembro stadium in Bissau.
Returning back to Nigeria after the national duty, Osimhen spent a couple of days with friends and supporters.
One of which, was a visit to the Lagos Mansion of Nigerian musician Peter Okoye.
Recent reports upon his return to Naples, confirmed that the player is no longer in possession of his protective mask.
Osimhen’s mask disappears:
Italian media outlet, Calciomercato, was among the first to confirm that Osimhen’s mask has disappeared.
Osimhen returned to Italy in time ahead of the AC Milan Serie A clash.
Speculations has it that Osimhen’s mask may have been stolen from him when he was still in Nigeria.
Napoli’s medical team is faced with the responsibility of getting another mask ready for the player upon his return from injury.
According to reports, Victor Osimhen will miss competitive actions due to an injury he sustained during the international duties with Nigeria.
Club’s officials, confirmed the former Wolfsburg forward, had a knock and will be out for at least two weeks.
He may miss out on the double-header clash with AC Milan; one this weekend in an Italian Serie A fixture.
Importantly, another in a UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixture later this month.
