Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro will be missing some key players for the world cup qualifier fixtures against Lesotho and Zimbabwe npflupdates.com reports.
It’s certain that Peseiro will be without key forwards Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze; also he will be missing the services of defenders Zaidu Sanusi(of FC Porto) and Oluwasemilogo Ajayi( West Bromwich Albion) for next month’s 2026 FIFA world cup qualifier fixtures.

Ajayi has been missing in action for West Bromwich Albion, and wasn’t in action when WestBrom played in the mid-week.
Wilfred Ndidi was not in action on Tuesday when Leicester City beat Sunderland an EFL championship fixture. Leicester manager Maresca, on Tuesday said that the former Genk Midfielder will be up for selection on Saturday afternoon.
But the update took a different dimension, when Maresca made U-turn, to announce that the 26-year-old will no longer be up for selection.
Jose Peseiro gets Ndidi injury update
According to the football guru, Ndidi’s earlier speculated muscle tightness was more than that; and will now be out for the EFL fixture against Queens Park Rangers.
“It’s a bit more than tightness, he is out this weekend. It could be a few days, it’s a muscle problem, but it is not a big thing,” Maresca was quoted on BBC Sport Leicester X.

If injury fails to recover in time, he may not make the Super Eagles game for the November qualifier.
Recall, during the last outing, Jose Peseiro was without defender Jamilu Collins, who was injured and advised to sit-out by Cardiff City coach.
