Super Eagles combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is on the verge of joining Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasary npflupdates.com understands.

Ndidi is reportedly in talks with Turkish Super Lig outfit Galatasary SK ahead of a move to the club.

According to a report in Turkey, the former Super Lig champions have established contact with the player’s agent. And talks have advanced, between the player’s representative, parent club and potential suitors.

Also, according to a source close to the player, Ndidi has reached out to some Nigerians players who have played in the Turkish league. And he was suspected to have asked the players what the league and it’s supporters looks like.

“I can tell you that, Wilfred(Ndidi) has reached out to Joseph Yobo and also Emmanuel Emenike. What they discussed I can’t say for sure. But I’m sure it won’t be very far away from his potential move to the Turkish Super Lig,” the source told NPFLUpdates.

Recall, Leicester City’s new manager made it clear that players who are willing to leave the club are free do so. The gaffer argued that the transfer window is a long one, which can see players move in opposite directions.

And since the former EPL Champions got relegated, a handsome number of key players have switched sides. Some of the major departures being wimger Harvey Barnes and midfielder James Madison.

Meanwhile, for Galatasary to secure the services of the former Genk midfielder, they’re expected to cough out €25M .

According to npflupdates in-house analyst Mr. Best, Ndidi’s potential move to Turkey’s top flight division is a welcomed development. Because it will provide the Nigerian an opportunity of playing th UEFA Champions League when it kicks off in September.

“If the deal is completed, it’s a good one. Because, Ndidi is a top player who’s supposed to playing at the top level. And of course, this move will present him a UEFA Champions League opportunity,” he said.
